What are you going to do as a Marketing Intern?
The AI-driven HR & Research team at Highberg specializes in identifying, analyzing, and improving employee and HR-related challenges. The team transforms data into insights, and these insights are used to create value for clients: turning insights into profit!
As a marketing intern, you ensure that this value becomes visible in the market. You work at the intersection of marketing, content, and event management. You translate the complex, data-driven projects of our consultants into attractive content and campaigns that reach and convince (potential) clients.
Your work as a Marketing Intern at Highberg
Together, we will define the exact scope of your internship assignment. Below is an overview of the possible activities:
- Commercial Marketing & Automation: You help set up and optimize marketing automation funnels to generate and nurture leads.
- Content Creation & Social Media: You manage our corporate social media channels (especially LinkedIn). You gather input from project team members and translate this into “marketing-ready” blogs, posts, and articles, supported by strong visuals and graphics.
- Events: You are responsible for coordinating and communicating around client events (both on-site and online webinars). You ensure smooth preparation and execution.
- Website & SEO: You keep our online presence sharp. Do you have knowledge of technical SEO optimization? That’s a big plus, and you’ll have the opportunity to improve our online visibility.
- Innovation: You experiment with AI tools for content creation and marketing efficiency.
What are we asking?
You are in the final year of an HBO (University of Applied Sciences) or WO (University) program in Marketing, Communication, Commercial Economics, Multimedia Design, or a similar field;
You have a strong affinity with the world of consulting and an interest in HR, AI, Digital, and Data;
You are skilled with social media (LinkedIn) and content creation tools (such as Canva and photography);
Experience with marketing automation tools or CMS systems is a plus;
Excellent communication skills in Dutch or English, both written and verbal;
You are available for ≥4 days per week for a minimum of 6 months and live within 1 hour of travel from our office near Amsterdam RAI.

What are we offering?
A good internship allowance (EUR 550 per month) and training opportunities;
12.5 days' holiday (for a six-month full-time employment)
Starting from September or by mutual agreement
Start date from March 2026 or by mutual agreement;
Guidance from experienced consultants within the team;
A pleasant working environment with short communication lines, a strong team performance focus, and plenty of social activities such as drinks, sports activities, and team gatherings;
Our office is located at the Zuidas in Amsterdam and is easily accessible by public transport.
About the team
You will join the AI-driven HR & Research team, which is part of the People & Organization Hub. The team consists of approximately 25 colleagues: consultants, researchers, data scientists, and data engineers. A fantastic team of smart and driven professionals who are always ready to help! We not only work hard together, but also have a lot of fun—we organize social events and enjoy many activities such as outings, Friday afternoon drinks, and sports events.
